Support Us

The Stanford Storytelling Project is growing rapidly and if you enjoy the work we produce, please consider supporting us. Since 2007, we have been funded through seed grants from the Stanford Institute for Creativity and the Arts, the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education, the Department of English, Stanford Continuing Studies, and the Program in Writing and Rhetoric. We are also supported by a generous gift by alumnus Bruce Braden.

As the project has gained a following, both on and off campus, we have expanded quickly, collaborating with more and more faculty, students, and departments to produce and share the great storytelling going on all over campus.

Our rapid expansion and new ventures all require more funding, of course. We continue to be supported by the programs and departments named above, but we are also seeking new funding that will allow us to explore and promote great storytelling across media and genres.

We can accept financial or other forms of support from other units at Stanford, from alumni, or from anyone in the community. If you are interested in helping us bring more great storytelling to the Stanford community, please just contact the director of the project, Jonah Willihnganz, at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
