An Evening with Physicist and Author Alan Lightman

A conversation about bridging the gap between the arts, spirituality, and science with the acclaimed MIT physicist and author of Einstein's Dreams, The Transcendent Brain, and The Accidental Universe.

Saturday, November 9th, 2024, 7:30pm, CEMEX Auditorium, Stanford University.

Co-sponsored by the Stanford Storytelling Project and the Stanford University Speaker's Bureau.

The sold-out event was wonderful, featuring a wide-reaching conversation and an engaged Q+A with the audience. Before the public event, Lightman also hosted a master class workshop for 20 of our students (pictured below) so they could learn about his creative process as a scientist and storyteller.
